About Us

We are an Anglican Church located in Montreal-West. We have been an active part of the community for more than 130 years and we are looking to renew our commitment and make connections with others so that we may increase our capacity to realize our mission. As the parish is reflecting on future goals and vision this is an exciting and vital time at St. Philips.

We are proud of our heritage of service to God and to the community and we look forward to new challenges. Our worship honours the great tradition of our faith and we also seek ways to keep that tradition alive and vital. We value our place in the world-wide Anglican Communion, representing over 80 million Christians throughout the world.

We embrace the remarkably flexible nature of the Anglican tradition, which includes elements of both Protestantism and Catholicism, as well as one that takes an honest approach to the pursuit of truth.

We serve the community and we are focused outwards and about others.

All are welcome to be a part of our parish life. Our table and hearts are open to all who come because we believe that there are no outsiders in God's commonwealth of justice and compassion.
